Onyx in Chicago

This Chicago banjo shaped bathroom vanity countertop is made from onyx stone called Blue Louise 1 ¼ inch. The 4 inch backsplash and simple ¼ round finish edge beautifully show the uniqueness of this onyx stone. The sink used was an under mount porcelain rectangular shaped Kohler sink that gives this bathroom its contemporary design. Onyx is formed from quartz such as granite, but because it is similar to agate it has a beautiful layered deposit that makes this stone exceptional.
